Role of Procedural Fluency in Community Life of Indo – Nepal Himalayan Perspective
Himalayan region endowed with majestic and breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity and cultural heritage presents both challenges and opportunities for enhancing procedural fluency. The harsh, adverse and unpredictable climate, coupled with the rugged terrain, dry strong winds makes life difficult and requires the inhabitants to be adept at various procedures to ensure their survival and prosperity in the Himalayan region. Procedural fluency is the ability to apply, transfer, build, modify and recognize procedures efficiently, flexibly, and accurately to different problems and contexts, when one strategy or procedure is more appropriate than the other (Inayah , Septian & Suwarman 2020). It is the critical skill to develop strategic competence among the individuals, involves intricate knowledge and develops deep understanding (Magfirotin & Amir 2024). The unique geographical and cultural context of the Himalayas necessitates a high degree of procedural fluency in activities and complexities intersect with the specific socio-cultural contexts of mountain communities (Dowell et, al. 2020). The integration of procedural fluency in community-based initiatives will empower the Himalayan region people to preserve their heritage while embracing sustainable development.
This paper underlines;
- To explore the role of procedural fluency in community life of Indo – Nepal Himalayan region .
- To examine the strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing procedural fluency among the people living in the Indo – Nepal Himalayan region.
This study used a qualitative approach based on the review analysis and the content analysis.
The research studies reveals that educational programs that focus on enhancing procedural fluency equip individuals with the skills needed (Borji, Radmehr & Font, 2019) .
In discussion it comes out that procedural fluency is a cornerstone of community life in the Himalayan regions. The Himalayan people can continue to thrive in their unique and dynamic landscape. The findings would reveal the significance of procedural fluency in day – to – day life of the people of Indo -Nepal Himalayan region fostering resilience, innovation & self – sufficiency among the Himalayan communities embrace modern advancements. Studies regarding the role of procedural fluency have been explored in all other aspects but specifically not for Indo – Nepal Himalayan region.
